1. Qualifying Persons
1.1 1st4 Limited trading as Bitcomps.com (“the Promoter”) operates skill-based prize competitions resulting in the allocation of prizes in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
1.2 Competitions are open to persons aged 18 years or over, excluding employees of the Promoter.
1.3 The Promoter reserves the right to suspend or close an account, or invalidate an entry, where it reasonably believes an Entrant is abusing the service, acting dishonestly, or attempting to circumvent entry limits or verification processes.
1.4 Entrants must be located within the United Kingdom.
1.5 Entry into a Competition does not require consent to marketing communications. Marketing consent, where offered, is optional and may be withdrawn at any time
2. Legal Undertaking
2.1 By entering a Competition, Entrants confirm that they have read, understood, and agree to bebound by these Terms and Conditions.
2.2 Competitions are governed by English law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.
2.3 Entrants are responsible for ensuring that participation is lawful in their jurisdiction.
3. Competition Entry
3.1 Competitions may be entered online via the Website or via the free postal entry route described in Clause 13.
3.2 Competition availability, entry limits, and closing times are clearly displayed on the relevant Competition page.
3.3 To enter online, Entrants must provide contact and payment details, answer the applicable Skill Question, and confirm acceptance of these Terms.
3.4 Only entries that correctly complete the Skill Question will be treated as valid entries.
3.5 Entry limits apply equally to paid and free entries and are enforced per person
4. Promotion Periods
4.1 Each Competition will run for a stated period, with opening and closing times clearly shown on the Competition page.
4.2 Competitions will close at the stated closing time and will not be extended
5. Skill Requirement and Winner Selection
5.1 All of our competitions can be entered either via the postal entry route or paid entry route, and some of our competitions offer an easy or multiple-choice question that must be answered correctly for your entry to be submitted into the competition draw.
5.2 Where one valid entry exists, that Entrant will be declared the Winner.
5.3 Where multiple valid entries exist, the Winner will be selected from the pool of correct entries only.
5.4 If no correct entries are received, the Promoter may declare the Competition void and refund entries, or offer the prize in a future Competition.
5.5 All decisions regarding the correctness of answers and the validity of entries are final.
6. Winners and Publicity
6.1 Winners may be invited to participate in reasonable publicity, including photographs or videos. Participation is voluntary and refusal will not affect prize entitlement.
6.2 We will contact you to either arrange the free delivery of your prize to the address in United Kingdom as stated on your account or made available for your collection if you prefer.
6.3 If the winner cannot be contacted or is not available or has not claimed the prize within 14 days of the draw date, the promoter reserves the re-draw the prize from all correct entrants of that competition.
7. Competition Prizes
7.1 Prizes are owned by the Promoter until delivery to the Winner.
7.2 Prizes are non-transferable and non-exchangeable unless expressly stated.
7.3 Cryptocurrency prizes are awarded at their value at the time of listing. No representation is made as to future value.
8. Affiliates & Third-Party Marketing
8.1 The Promoter may engage affiliates for marketing purposes. Responsibility for Competition operation rests solely with the Promoter
9. Data Protection
9.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with the Promoter’s Privacy Policy and applicable data protection legislation.
10. Limitation of Liability
10.1 To the maximum extent permitted by law, bitcomps shall not have any liability to you or any winner in connection with or arising from any draw howsoever caused, including costs, expenses, damages and any other liabilities, provided that nothing in this clause shall limit our liability for personal injury or death caused by our negligence. Our total maximum aggregate liability to each winner shall be limited to the total value of any one prize. Our total maximum aggregate liability for non-winners shall be limited to the amount paid to enter the draw.
Except for any legal responsibility that we cannot exclude in law (such as for death or personal injury) or arising under applicable laws relating to the protection of your personal information, we are not legally responsible for any: (a) losses that were not foreseeable to you and us when these terms were formed; (b) losses that were not caused by any breach on our part; (c) business losses; and (d) losses to non-consumers.
11. Technical Issues
11.1 The Promoter will take reasonable steps to ensure the Website operates correctly but accepts no responsibility for entries affected by technical failures outside its control
12. Refund Policy
12.1 Entries are final and non-refundable except where a Competition is cancelled
13. Free Postal Entry Route
13.1 A free entry route is available for all Competitions and provides an equal opportunity to win.

13.3 Postcards must include full name, date of birth, email address, contact telephone number, postaladdress, Competition name, and the correct answer to the Skill Question.
13.4 No purchase or account creation is required to enter by post.
13.5 Postal entries are treated identically to online entries and included equally in the pool of correct entries.
13.6 Postal entries must be received before the stated Competition closing time
13.7 Bulk entries will not be accepted; each postal entry must be sent on a seperate post card with forst or second class stamp affixed to it.
13.8 The allocation of prizes and tickets does not differentiate between paid and postal entries.

15. General
15.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between the Promoter and Entrants.
16. Regulatory Language Notes (Transparency)
The following terms are intentionally avoided or restricted to reduce gambling indicators: – “Ticket”, “draw”, “raffle”, “lottery”
This Competition is not gambling under the Gambling Act 2005
17. The Draw
17.1 The draw will take place as soon as reasonably possible and on the same day as the closing date (“draw date“). The draw date will only be or extended in very exceptional and unavoidable circumstances beyond your control which make it necessary to do so. If this happens, the draw will take place at the first available opportunity and be displayed on our website and social media platforms accordingly.
18. Pay out of Prizes on Blockchain
18.1 If you have won and opt for your prize in cryptocurrency (Bitcoin, Stablecoins etc) we will contact you using the details you have provided and ask you to provide a suitable wallet address.
18.2 It is your responsibility to ensure it is correct, we will provide proof of payment on the blockchain using the transaction hash.
18.3 Crypto markets are volatile and we accept no responsibility for price movements after we have paid out the prize to you. You are responsible for any future tax implications.
